Spiral heat exchanger is a compact, high-efficiency heat transfer device with a unique spiral flow channel structure. It is fabricated by rolling two metal plates into a spiral shape, forming two independent sealed flow passages for two fluids. The two media flow in opposite directions inside the spiral channels, achieving full counter-current heat exchange.

Featuring high heat transfer efficiency, anti-fouling performance and small footprint, this equipment is widely used for heating, cooling, condensation and heat recovery. It can be made of carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium and other materials, and is suitable for viscous, easy-to-scale and corrosive media in various industrial fields.

Working Principle

Two metal plates are rolled to form concentric spiral channels, which divide the equipment into two independent flow spaces.

One fluid enters from the outer spiral channel and flows inward along the spiral path.

The other fluid flows outward from the central channel in the opposite direction, forming complete counter-current heat transfer.

During the flow, fluids keep strong turbulence, heat is fully transferred through the metal plate wall.

The special channel structure prevents medium deposition, ensuring long-term stable operation.
