Sprayed Fluorine Lined Storage Tank

Electrostatic fluororesin spraying is an advanced anti-corrosion technology worldwide. The steel surface is degreased and derusted at high temperature, then blasted to form rough texture. A special primer is applied first. Fluorine powder is electrostatically charged and evenly adsorbed on the surface, then heated and fused into a compact protective coating. A 1mm-thick film requires 5 to 6 repeated spraying and baking cycles, with maximum coating thickness up to 2mm. Available fluorine materials include PTFE, PFA, FEP, ETFE and ECTFE. Widely used in chemical, papermaking, food and semiconductor industries.

We customize lining materials and processes to suit diverse media and working conditions.

Working Principle

Prior to spraying, remove burrs and impurities, eliminate oil stains and conduct sand blasting to Sa2 grade. Apply primer, then adsorb charged fluorine powder evenly under electric field. High-temperature baking melts powder into firm protective layer. Multiple spraying and baking cycles ensure the coating reaches specified thickness.
