Model DS-BG series candle filter is an innovative filtration system manufactured in compliance with GMP standards. Filtration, washing and residue draining can be completed inside the filter housing.
We select optimal lining materials and processes according to diverse media and working conditions to deliver customized filtration solutions.
Catalyst-containing feed liquid enters from the filter exterior and permeates filter media inwardly. Impurities larger than pore size are trapped and accumulate to form filter cakes on the surface. The cakes further intercept fine particles via bridging effect. When pressure difference reaches the preset value, inlet and outlet valves close. Compressed gas is injected to dry the cakes, and back-blowing discharges contaminants to regenerate filter elements.
Filtration proceeds after pre-filtration and stops once feeding halts. Residue discharge is realized by back-blowing without draining internal liquid. Filter cakes peel off and settle down to the cone section within seconds, then the filtration cycle restores.
Thickened slurry is discharged through the discharge valve in the next cycle without disrupting ongoing filtration.
Separated solids are dehydrated and discharged by gas back-blowing. Recycle of filter cakes for re-reaction is available.
Uninterrupted filtration is supported. Solids return to liquid and are discharged in slurry form, ideal for continuous processing procedures.

Reverse pressure inside filter rods enables both dry and wet discharging. The special structure facilitates efficient back-blowing. Filter cloth expands sharply to crack attached cakes vertically. Instant back-blow gas such as air or nitrogen quickly strips cakes away from the cloth.
